Measures for the examination and approval of the compilation of urban system planning The measures for the examination and approval of the compilation of urban system planning shall come into force as of September 1, 1994. Its main contents are: 1., the concept of urban system The urban system refers to the urban community with organic links in the economic, social and spatial development within a certain regional scope (see article second). 2., the task of urban system planning Urban system planning task is: the development conditions of the comprehensive evaluation of urban development strategy; regional towns; prediction of regional population growth and development level of the city; proposed the development direction of the relevant towns and scale; coordinated relationship between time and space of urban development and industrial configuration; overall arrangement of regional infrastructure and community facilities; guide and control of urban areas is reasonable development and distribution; to guide the preparation of city planning (see article third). 3. urban system planning deadline The planning period of a town system is generally 20 years (see sixth). 4. organization and approval of urban system planning The national urban system planning shall be organized by the administrative department of urban planning under the State Council, and shall be submitted to the State Council for examination and approval by the administrative department of urban planning under the state council.
