Change in organizations may be predictable or unpredictable. Which of the following is a predictable force for organizational change? ConcepTest: Change Resisting forces in Randy’s organization (in his employees) were greater than their perception of the driving forces for change. When Randy’s subordinates heard his call for change, they thought about how uncomfortable they would be with the new setup and systems. They all were close to retirement, and learning new systems would be difficult. They were comfortable doing things the way they’d always done them, and they didn’t understand the need for change. In Randy’s situation: Driving forces were greater than resisting forces. Resisting forces were great. Driving forces were clear. Resisting forces were greater than driving forces. Not sure.
