Peking University is a place that has changed my life, a place for me to improve myself, and a place where I moved from a rural child to the world at last. It is no exaggeration to say that without Peking University, there would be no me today. I remember when I was in Beijing University, I had a lot of depression. First, my Putonghua was not good, and two my English was a mess. Although my college entrance examination after 3 years of effort was admitted to the University, I failed two times, the last time was accidentally entered the north. In fact, my English is poor. I can neither hear nor speak in the countryside. I can only recite grammar and words. When I was in class, 50 students were divided into three classes. Because my English test scores were good, I was assigned to the A class. A month later, I was transferred to class C. Class C is called pronunciation, intonation and hearing barrier. I also remember that before I entered Peking University, I didnt even read a dream of Red Mansions, so I saw one of my classmates reading a book, and I was chasing like mad. As a result, I had read more than 800 books in College for 5 years, but still failed to catch up with my classmates. When I graduated from college, my grades were still at the end of the class. But at that time I had a good mentality. I know Im smarter than my classmates, but I have the ability to keep on trying. At the commencement ceremony, I said, everyone has achieved excellent results. I am a backward student in our class.. I want to reassure my students that I will never give up. Ill do 5 years for you, 10 years for you, 20 years for me, 40 years for me.
