Electric arc welding is a common form of welding, welding process is the main characteristics of high temperature, large temperature difference, the segregation phenomenon is very prominent, therefore, welding defects in the welding process tend to produce different types of legacy in the weld. Such as cracks, lack of penetration, lack of fusion, porosity, slag, welding, arc pit and tungsten inclusion etc.. Thereby reducing the strength properties of the weld, which brings great disadvantage to the production. However, no matter what kind of defect, it has formed in the process of formation mechanism and basic characteristics of specific rules, as long as the master of its formation, will we formulate measures of welding process in production, play a good role to prevent defects. Therefore, I analyze the formation and harmfulness of common defects in weld, and put forward preventive measures.
1 the weld surface size does not meet the requirements
Is the main welding groove angle right, assembly gap is not uniform, the welding speed or improper operation method is not correct, and the angle of electrode selection or change, coupled with the submerged arc welding process selection is not correct will cause replant defect.
