1.Lead in
Play a guessing game using
the following sentences:
“Is the …Tom’s/hers/his?”
“Whose...is this?”
2.MAsk the students to make dialogues with partners
suing the things they have, and try to sue the sentences like these:
“Is the …yours/hers/his?”
“Whose...is this?”
Guess the things and use the sentences like these:
“Is the …Tom’s/hers/his?”
“Whose...is this?”
Make dialogues with their partners suing the things they have, and use the following sentences:

通过游戏引导学生回顾上节课的内容,巩固的语句。
通过这个环节,既可以活跃课堂气氛,.也能从说句子中考验学生对Unit1知识的掌握程度,还训练了学生的反应。并在无形中培养学生大胆说英语的习惯。

1. Scanning
(1)Ask students to scan the passage.
T: There is a big Lost and Found office in New York.
There are many things in it. Please scan the passage and answer the question:
“What things are there at the lost and found office in New York City?”
2. Skimming
Ask students to skim the passage.
T: There are many lost things in the Lost and Found Office, many people come here to find their things. Do you want to learn more about it? Now, please skim the passage and answer the questions in Activity 2.
3.Careful reading.
(1)Paragraph 1:
①Choose the best answers
T: Please read paragraph1 and say “T” or “F” to the two sentences in groups.
②Organize some students to come to the blackboard and show out some difficult language points that they found in this paragraph. Then discuss with them.
(2)Paragraph 2:
①Present some sentences to the students and ask them to read paragraph 2 and write “T” or “F” in groups, also correct the wrong sentences after reading Paragrap
