简说as … as …结构 ■崔长平 河南遂平一高（463100） “as… as…”结构具有多种用法和不同的含义，一般来讲，结构中的第一个as是副词，修饰说明一个原级形容词或副词；第二个as为连词，经常用来引导一个从句或省略的从句。在学习中，我们应当区别对待，分类掌握。现将其主要用法归纳如下： 1）表达原级比较，结构中使用原级形容词或副词，意为“象（与）……一样”。①用来说明不同的人或事物之间的共同特征。②用来说明同一个人或事物之间的不同特征的相同程度。③用来说明不同的人或事物之间的不同特征的相同程度。④当名词接受many、few、much、little（“少的”）修饰或限制时，也可以置于本结构中。⑤本结构也可以使用：as﹢形容词﹢不定冠词﹢单数名词﹢as…。 Tom was as kind as John (was). She studies as hard as Mary (does). You know as much about that as I do.
