Period One;can 和 have to的用法 1. can可以表示能力, 意思是“能, 会”, 在过去式中用could 。 2. can还可以表示请求许可, 在这一用法中, can和could都可用于现在, 但could比can语气更加委婉。 can (could)用在一般疑问句中表示请求许可时, 其肯定回答一般为 “Sure, I’d love to.”或“Yes, please.”；否定回答通常为“Sorry, I can’t.”。;3. can还可以表示可能性, 常用于否定句中。 4. have to意为“必须, 不得不”, 与must意义相似, 但must强调人的主观意识, 而have to强调客观的必要。 have to变否定时要借助于助动词do, 表示“不必”。 5. can和have to后面都接动词原形。can没有人称和数的变化, 而have to有。; 用can或have to的适当形式填空。 1. ________ (can) you swim when you were 8 years old? 2. —___________(can) I use your bike????? —Sure! 3.
