Rhythm vs. Rhyme The natural rhythms of the poems helps intonation in English. (e.g.: Jack Jill, Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater, ) It is an excellent medium for a variety of teaching techniques which make the classroom into a stimulating learning environment. The rhymes help children regain vocabulary. Let’s Chant Our Mother Tongue! Chinese: “ㄅ” 什麼 “ㄅ”,爸爸的 “ㄅ” Rap: 聽說Lucy時常做運動, 身體健康精神好, 規律運動不可少, 全身運動功效好. 喂, 同學! 整個禮拜運動樣來安排, 要聽我就報給你知.
