Good morning, honorable judges! My name is____. It’s my great honor and pleasure to have this opportunity to share my teaching ideas with you. The content of my lesson is New Senior English for China Book1 Unit_______. I’ll begin this lesson from five parts: the analysis of teaching material, the teaching methods, the studying of students and learning methods, the teaching procedure, and blackboard design. PartⅠ Teaching Material This unit is about science and scientists. By studying this unit, we’ll enable the students to know the serious attitude towards science and develop the interest in science. This lesson pays an important part in this unit. As we know that reading belongs to the language input during the process of the language learning. The input has great effect on output, such as speaking and writing. According to the New English Curriculum and the syllabus, and based on the analysis of the teaching material and the rule of children’s growing of mind, I think the teaching aims are : 1. Knowledge objects: The Ss can master the usage of the important words, expressions and sentence patterns. The Ss can use the patterns to express their thoughts in the proper situation. The Ss can understand the content of the lesson, talk about and get their own idea about 2. Ability objects: To develop the Ss’ abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. To improve the student’s reading ability, especially their skimming and scanning ability. To guide Ss to set up effective studying strategies. 3. Emotion or moral objects: 1) By studying this lesson, the students will , and put the moral education in the language study.
