(1)a lot of许多，大量的。既可以修饰可数名词，也可以修饰不可数名词。主要用于肯定句中。 (2)many/much许多，(数量上少于a lot of).many修饰可数名词，much修饰不可数名词。主要用于否定和疑问句中 (3)some/any 一些 (数量上少于many和much)。既可以修饰可数名词，也可以修饰不可数名词。some多用于肯定句，any用于否定和疑问句中。 CAROL : I must go to the grocers.We haven’t got much tea or coffee, and we haven’t got any sugar or jam. have和have got区别 两者意思一样，都是 “有”的意思，但have 可以用在任何场景中，而 have got通常用于口语等 非正式的环境中。 TOM: What about vegetables? CAROL: I must go to the greengrocer s. We havent got many tomatoes , but weve got a lot of potatoes not…at all 词组，表示“丝毫，根本”的意思，有强调作用。 Not at all. 在口语中常用于表示“没关系”是 It doesn’t matter at all.的省略句。 CAROL: I must go to the butchers, too . TOM: Well, I havent got much either! 情态动词need的用法 need 做情态动词时，need表示“需要”、“必须”， 没有时态，人称、数格的变化, 可以直接加否定形式。 多用于否定句和疑问句。 结构：need + 动词原形 否定句： 一般疑问句： 特殊疑问句： Need I make an appointment? Yes, you need./No, you needn’t. I needn’t make an appointment. What need I do? 实义动词need的用法 need 做实义动词时，就有人称、数格及时态上的 变化，疑问句中也需用助动词do 1.need sth eg: We need a lot of money now. They don’t need it any more. Do you need any help? 2. need to do sth 有义务或责任去做某事 eg: You need to take good care of your mother. What do we need to buy for your birthday? 3.need sb to do sth 需要某人做某事 eg: We need you to help us. 4. need doing /to be done表示被动含义 eg: The door needs painting/to be painted.
