Y2 Range of Three-Phase Induction Motors Jiamusi Electric Machine Co., Ltd. General Y2 range of motors are general-purpose low-voltage three-phase induction ones which are redesigned on the basis of Y range of motors, and are the upgraded and updated products. This range of motors are of totally-enclosed fan-cooled squirrel-cage construction, and have advantages of novel design, compact construction, beautiful appearance, high efficiency, high torque, good starting performance, energy saving, small vibration, safe and reliable operation, etc. The frame sizes (63 to 355), output rating, and mounting dimensions are in accordance with IEC standard. The motors are class F insulated. The motors of frame sizes above 180 are provided with the oil-filing and draining devices. The temperature-detecting devices for stator windings can be provided on user’s request. Duty type is S1. Method of cooling is IC411. Degree of protection by enclosure is IP55. YB2-W, YB2-TH, and YB2-WYH ranges of motors (“W” outdoor type, “TH” damp-tropical type, and “WTH” outdoor damp-tropical type) can be derived from this range of motors, and YB2-(F1 ~ F2) and YB2-W(F1~ F2) ranges of motors (“F1” medium-corrosion-proof type, “F2” strong-corrosion-proof type) can also be derived from them according to the condition of indoor or outdoor corrosive environment. The cooling ribs of motor are distributed vertically and horizontally. The terminal box of motor can be located at the top and right side of the frame depending on the frame size (see overall and mounting dimensions), which can be selected on user’s request. If the user does not specially indicate it, the terminal box is located at the top of motor.
