In our ordinary life and work, the protective measures of messuage and the security protection of company documents and information will be to achieve by lock. From ancient times, people have used mechanical lock, however, the protective capability of mechanical lock can not keep up with the requirements of modern society. As the electronic equipment tends to be miniature and intelligent in today’s society, the singlechip has been in the irreplaceable position of the controller in the electronic products. Therefore, the intelligent electronic coded lock, which uses the SCM as the control system and combining the function both of anti-theft and alarm, has gradually replaced the traditional mechanical coded lock and make up for the shortcomings which are the safety property and password less and so on of the mechanical cipher lock. This design is constituted by the reset circuit, STC89C52 SCM, crystal oscillating circuit, buzzer, 4 * 4 matrix keyboards, relays and other components. In this design, through the 4 * 4 keyboard entering and changing the password, the buzzer can achieve the function of alarm. While the minimum system of the singlechip is made up of the reset circuit, crystal oscillating circuit and STC89C52 SCM. This lock has a six digits password settings, and the password can be changed. When entering the wrong password, it also will have the alarm function.
