In her press briefing(新闻发布会)at Yambio airstrip，Dr.Itto said，“We have achieved justice and freedom from oppression from Khartoum government.Now we have two major issues ahead of us and that is peace and prosperity.Therefore，the battle ahead of us is greater than the justice and freedom for which we have fought for over the last 21 years.There will be no peace if people are hungry，malnourished，sick，beggars，and there will be no prosperity if all people are poor，the justice and freedom people fought for will be meaningless.” On 23rd June 2011，Dr.Itto arrived at Rimenze Boma where AAH-I through the Emergency Food Crisis Response Project(EFCRP)supported the installation of a rice mill for the Rimenze Multipurpose Co-operative Society who managed the rice mill.Dr.Itto was received by school children with welcome songs and a goat was slaughtered.The Co-operative Society has 38 members.It has transformed over the years and with the help of AAH-I/EFCRP，the Co-operative Society has been training members and is in the process of completing the registration process. The Emergency Food Crisis Response Project(EFCRP)was launched in August 2009.The aim of the project was to improve access and availability of food for consumption of 9500 vulnerable households in Morobo and Yambio counties.
