The tone of this “Fantastic Four” is more dramatic, more character driven and more grounded in reality. It is inspired by the origin story depicted in Marvel’s Ultimate Fantastic Four comic. It’s a coming-of-age movie that takes place before the team becomes the celebrity ‘Fantastic Four’ everyone knows. Ben Grimm, as portrayed by Jamie Bell, will be created 100% via CG (after his accident transformation).??Bell will wear a motion capture performance suit on set when he is transformed into the Ben Grimm/Thing rock creature.?? Bell will perform his transformed character wearing stilts attached to his ankles feet that will elevate him to the correct eye line of his CG-created character’s full 6’ 8” height.??
