Abstract: T hrough t he MLA aut omat c detect on, XRD and ot her measurement s, t he deta led
m neralog cal process st ud es on t he L ng yang ron ore n J l n Prov nce w ere carr ed out to dent f y
the chem cal compos t on , m neral compos t on , gra n compos t on and d ssem nat on
charact er st cs of the ore. T he results show ed that ron ma nly occurs n form of magnet te and
s der t e, and small amount s of ron ex sts n chamos te and bert h er ne. L ngyang ron ores are
refractory due to com plex com pos t on , f ne d ssem nat ed and ron m nerals lock ng closely w th
g ang ue m neral. T he results may prov de the bas c references for the rat onal explo tat on of t he
ron ore resources.
