Calcination can remove the componentsw hich are easy to volatilize in waste alum inum oxide, and via the crys tallization process, the carriersw ith certain pore structure and specific surface can e reacqu ired so as to realize the regeneration. In th ispaper, the influence of heat treatm ent temperature and tmi e on them icrostructure of active alum inum oxide is d iscussed. The methods such asXRD, SEM, BET and e t al, are used to characterize them icrostructure of alum inum oxide after it is activated so as to determ ine the optmi al heat treatment p lan.
