Abstract :The principle of short-circuit ring for AC contactor was introduced． And from some aspects of AC
contactor ’s operating characteristics ，temperature rising and power consumption ，some important factors which in-
fluence on the characteristics of short-circuit ring were comparably analysed by using the method of simulation anal-
ysis and experimentel verification． These can provide reference for the design of contactor ’s short-circuit ring ，the
promotion of product performance and improvement of short-circuit ring．
