I. Pre-reading Presentation Step 1.Leading-in: Greet the students as usual. At the same time, wave your hand.
Step 2. Pre-reading:
1. Show the cartoon on PPT.
2. Ask: what the passage mainly talks about.
Answer: giant pandas
3. Show some pictures on PPT to teach new words.
1) Giant panda, it has a black face with white patches around the eyes. It has black ears, shoulders and legs.
2) Today, we will read a fact file about the giant panda.
3) Pandas usually live in the wild of central of China., but more and more pandas live in the zoo for protecting.
4) What are the pandas favorite food?
Their menus are only Bamboos.
5) An adult panda weighs( weight) about 200 kilogram. But panda at birth are very tiny.
6) Now, the population of pandas are fewer and fewer, they are endangered. Because the people are cruel to kill them for their fur.
7)So we have obligation to protect the panda including their behavior.
