Good morning, everyone. Today I’m going to talk about my teaching design. First, I will talk about the teaching content: I have been studying history in China.
In this reading ,the knowledge Objects are :
( 1 )The key words: capital, European, Australian, Jewish, Jew, more than, thousand, emperor, foreigner, quite, certain, the Olympic Games, far away.
(2) This is really an interesting city with a very colorful history.
Be welcomed by the Song Emperor.
I think if you study hard, you’ll be able to understand any culture.
The more…, the more…. I’m certain I will be here for ….
If I move to a foreign country, I’ll miss Chinese food.
Next I will talk about the ablilty Objects. In this class, the main aim is to improve students’ reading skill. And the teaching key point is to mprove students’ reading efficiency by using scanning for details. The teaching difficult points are that students can understand ,use the difficult sentences and learn about the different culture in different countries.
Now it’s time to say about my teaching procedures.
Step 1 Warming up
1、Ask the students to say out the Poem of Chinese Dynasties quickly.
2、Say out the capitals of the following provinces in the PPT.
(The aim is to remind the students to remember the Chinese history dynasties and learn to love our country from childhood.)
Step 2 Competition
In order to memory the famous characters in Chinese history, I design this period to let them say out the names of the characters in the pictures so as to review the Chinese history.
Then let them read the following famous stories in Chinese history:
Kong Rong gave the bigger pears to others.
Si Maguang broke the water tank to save kids’ lives.
Liu Bei went to Zhu Geliang’s house for three times.
Cao Chong tried to find the weight(重量) of the elephant.
Step 3Before reading
