China Institute for Radiation Protect ion, T aiyuan 030006, China) Abstract: The migration of CO in soil was simulated through use of soil column, especially the transformat ion of CO 2 2 between water and gas phases at w etting front w as studied. The soil column in the test was 1m long and the concentra- tion of CO solution w as 748mg/ L . Through analysis, it was shown t hat CO migration in water phase was governed by 2 2 advection, dispersion, reaction and mass transfer between water and gas phases, that in gas phase by advection, disper- sion, mass transfer betw een two phases. Sampling method under dynamic condition of two phase flow in soil column was approached and mass transfer coefficient from water phase to gas phase was determined as 000061.
