School of Civil Engineering, H efei U niversity of T echnology, Hefei 23000 , China) Abstract: The natural frequency and dynamic response of the square plansifter w ith eight cells are cal culated, and a new project of improving the structure is obtained. Based on the calculation, dynamic fatigue life evaluation of the original structure and the improved structure is conducted. T he actual ap plication indicates that the finite element model and the dynamic fatigue life evaluation method are fea sible.
