Outstanding achivements of the master of the tomb He Hongjing, inspiring words of the epitaph writer Lu Gao, as well as wonderful calligraphy of the sculptor Wu Pan make possible the best ever epitaph in China. This epitaph creates an atmosphere of plainess and quietness, the calligraphy being powerfull and flexible, the composition being throughly understanding, the structure being natural and the shape being vast yet delicate, all of these creats an art style of upright, leanly powerful and ventage.
