Dep ,Beijin g Polytech. Univ. , 100022) Abstract 　A series of supported palladium combustion catalysts were prepared with three different sup ports and three different preparation methods. Through experiments of catalytic benzene vapor combus tion ,the catalytic activit y was studied. The surface characteristics of catalysts were analyzed by SEM. The results show that both the support and the preparation method affect the catalytic activity. Meanwhile it is pointed out the the FeCrAl alloy containing the rare earth and treating undera centain high temperature is an ideal support for the combustion catalyst . An advanced preparation method was also put forward. Keywo
