The effect of the decoction on the expression of growth factor of glomerular connective tissue in rats with 5/6 nephrectomy Update date: 12-23 author: Yin lianfang, hu lihua, dou guoxiang [abstract] objective: to study the effect of Chinese herbal medicine decoction on the expression of the growth factor (CTGF) of glomerulonephrosis glomerulus in rats with renal glomerulus, and to investigate its mechanism of preventing glomerular sclerosis. Methods: the rat model was adopted by 5/6 nephrectomy, and the group was established, the model group, the chlortazan group and the traditional Chinese medicine were reduced. Serum urea nitrogen, creatinine and cholesterol levels were detected 12 weekends after surgery. The pathological changes of renal tissues were observed in the 12 th week by photoscope and electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry was applied to detect the expression level of CTGF in glomeruli. Results: the serum urea nitrogen, creatinine and cholesterol leels were significantly decreased (P 0.01) in the two groups, and no significant difference between the two treatment groups (P 0.01). Renal pathological examination showed a significant reduction in the severity of glomerul
