But the conflicting space and uncertain route may cause more passengers crowded in the MRT Stations and level down their operation efficiency. For this reason, this research applied Agent-based Modeling in layout planning and simulation. This research captured spatial information from BIM system for Agent-based Modeling. In the following step, pedestrians are simulated as interacting agents with complex behavior in limited space. Furthermore, system will estimates lengths of stay in specific areas, and detects potential problems with interior geometry. The planner evaluates the better site layout plan according to the results of simulation for being a reference to improve passenger satisfaction and environment quality in the operation stage of MRT Stations.
