According to the actual situation of this project, the study USES the X shape bar support cantilever to expand the assembling technique, reduces the number of lattice scaffolding, shortens the construction period and reduces the cost. The safety and efficiency of this project provides reference for other similar projects in China. [key words] : steel mesh frame, x-shape bar support, cantilever extension assembly, starting unit 1 project overview Qingdao university gymnasium is located in Qingdao university courtyard, the gymnasium covers an area of 24,000 square meters, the construction area is 13,000 square meters, can accommodate the audience 6000 people. Qingdao university gymnasium building great master by domestic famous sports MeiJiKui design, building image with musical sound of the sea as the theme, once held the 29th paralympics major events such as the paralympic games closing party.
