The proposed model, which consists of some related components, i.e., externa l en ironment, multiagent system, decisionmaking fra mework, can explicitly represent agents spat iotemporal decisionmaking beha iors and rules during the process of farmla nd con ersion, simulate the de elopmental tendency of fa rmla nd con ersion under different planning guidelines and pro ide auxiliary decisionma king support for fa rmland resources planning. The proposed model is applied to the simulation and planning of farmla nd con ersion in the core a rea s of Changsha , Z huzhou, Xiangtan city cluster in 2006 2020, which is t he na tional comprehensi e reforms test areas of building resourcesa ing a nd en ironmentfriendliness society in China.
