GSM系统信令接续流程（GSM system signaling connection process） Signaling process of GSM system In this paper, the calling protocol initiated by MS is taken as an example to illustrate the signaling process needed to implement a call in a GSM system. Based on the three layer connection (RR, MM, CC) of the application layer (L3), this paper analyzes the communication process of L leopard, introduces some main parameters of each signaling, and the role that the signaling plays in the process of calling. The GSM system uses simplified protocols like the OSI protocol model, including the physical layer (L1), the data link layer (L2) and the application layer (L3). L1 is the bottom of the protocol model, providing all the functionality required by the physical medium to transport bit streams. L2 guarantees correct delivery of messages and identification of individual calls. In the GSM system, the L1 and L2 on the wireless interface (Um) are TDMA frames and LAPDm protocols respectively. On the network side, the Abis interface and the A interface use L1 as the E1 transmission mode, and L2 is the LAPD and the MTP protocol respectively. In the Um interface, each call of MS has a L1 and L2 layer building process, and on this basis, and then establish communication with the network side L3. On the network side (A and Abis interface), its L1 and L2 (except SCCP) are always in a connection state.
