当if 从句所表达的内容不是事实或者是不可能发生的情况(或者实现可能性极小)时,主从句使用虚拟语气,该条件句被称作虚拟条件句。结构为:主句(would/should/could/might+动词原形); if从句中用一般过去时态。若从句谓语动词是be时,任何人称都用were。整个句子重在表达愿望。
