The Glires ( odentia and L argomorp ha) recorded in Henan pro ince are 29 speices. Its fauna and geographical distribution has been studied by Lu Jiqi et al( 1996) . This paper gi es a cluster analysis on geographical distribution about t hese Glires. The y es or no of distribution of the Glires in e ery zoo- geographical pro ince were regarded as two component status( 1 or 0) . The relati e coeffi cient was taken for the similar degree of Glires in e ery two zoo- geographical pro inces. T he cluster was taken by similar mean method. This paper discusses the characteristics of geographical distribu tion and the reasons of its formation, and gi es a comparison among the cluster result and the geo graphical di ision of Glires in Henan pro ince. It is clear that the Glires species was poor in plain and farming area, but the population of these rodent w ere enormous. The species di ersit y was more abundant in the forest mountains. Meanw hile, the mingle of Palearctic ealm speices and Oriental realm speices w ere ery notable in Henan pro ince.
