[A bstract] The paper discusses the research of lateral force coefficient internal and abroad, and
determ ine the lateral force coefficient standard of various speed that is adapted to internal road and traffic
speciality. A fter the analysis of distribution relation betw een superelevation and lateral force coefficient,
highw ay curve design parameter fit to our country is obtained through calcu lation, such as maxmi al super
elevation, genericm inmi al rad ius, u ltmi ate m in mi al radius, m inmi al rad iusw ithout superelevation etc.
