Teaching Procedures: 教学过程 Step 1.自主学习 时间状语从句主要用于说明主句动作的时间。其引导连词主要有when, while, as, after, before, until, as soon as 等。 通过观察以下例句，总结when, while, as引导时间状语从句的异同。 He came in when / while/ as we were talking. I was about to tell her the secret when someone patted me on the shoulder. While I was reading last night, she was watching TV. As she was watching TV, she was doing her homework. 相同点：在表示_________ 时，三个词可以通用，从句中的谓语动词必须是_______ 性的。 不同点①when既可表示“一段时间”，与持续性动词连用; 又可表示“时间点”，与瞬间动词连用。 ②while 从句只与持续动词连用，含义相当于 “ during the time ” ③ as强调主从句同时发生，常与when和while 通用，译作“一边…… 一边……”“随着”。 由as soon as 等引导的表示“一……就……”的时间状语从句。 As soon as 引导时间状语从句，表示从句的动作一发生，主句的动作随即就发生，常译作“一……就……”。例如： 翻译句子:As soon as she heard the news, she came to tell us about it.
