Then a novel method for extracting polygon s features is proposed in th is paper. F irst, w e extract polygon s topology features the number of vertex and the concave convex quality, on the basisof them, we can recogn ize polygon qualitatively, and them ethod is in sensitive to noises. Then we extract polygon s geom etry features parallelism, parallel edges ration and smi p le ratio, as a result, w e can analyze polygon quantitatively, and the algorithm can show fine discrmi ination bewt een polygons.
