PeterBird gives amodel of present plate bounda ries on the Earth in digital form, based on sources in the literature. The paper presents the PB2002 given by Peter Bird and his researchmethod for thismodel and results briefly. The establishment ofPB2002 refershardly any geo science research of Chinese scholars in Chinese regions. Considering the complexity of lithospheremotion in Chi nese regions, there are severalmethods for dividing the plate boundary according to different hypothesis. In addi tion, considering that the plate boundary model are given in the form of small scale maps or sketchs, the paper brings forward som e thoughts on establishing plate boundarymodel in Chinese regions.
