This paper analyzes the influence of RMB exchange rate change on Chinas economy from two aspects of macro and micro, and proposes corresponding measures to maintain the stability of RMB exchange rate and promote the balanced development of domestic and foreign economy. RMB exchange rate; balance of payments; economic stability In July 21, 2005, the peoples Bank of China issued on improving the RMB exchange rate formation mechanism reform notice, since then, gave up the RMB pegged to the U.S. dollar exchange rate system was established based on market supply and demand with reference to a basket of currencies, a managed floating exchange rate system, and the currency and the dollar adjustment is 8.11: 1. As of July 1, 2008, the central bank announced that the central parity of RMB against the U.S. dollar reached US $1 and RMB 6.8608 yuan in the foreign exchange market. I.
