ABSTRACT: Safety of food additives is an important issue related to food industry, whose use is directly
related to the characteristics and safety of food. So it is urgently needed to establish a strict system of
supervision and management of the use of food additives using regulations. Especially in May 24, 2015, the
formal implementation of the GB 2760-2014 standard, can directly reflect the emphasis on food additives of the
relevant departments. This article discussed the differences in regulations and standards of food additives
between EU and China from the definition,
