School of Architectural Engineering, Chang an University, Xi an 710061, Shaanxi, China) Abstract: According to the fast development of concrete-filled steel tube, the loading characteristics for the concrete-filled steel tube w ith sections of circle, square, hollow sandw ich and double skin w ere introduced. In order to analyze the load capacity of several kinds of section types, the loading of axial compression tests w ere analyzed w ith program ANSYS. And different relations of stress-strain w ere considered. T he load-displacement curve and stress nephogram of concrete-filled steel tube w ere analyzed. T he results are accordant w ith the corresponding literatures. It is important to choose the sections and the load capacity of concrete-filled steel tube.
