In the ext ending pr ocess, each fault2block is a comparatively independent sedimentary and subsidence cent er. In the process of rift2subsidence evolvement , some fault2blocks succession rift and subside for a long period, becoming the host sags of the pr imary oil source cent er, and the other s show the less range of subsidence or strong denudation, becoming the brink sags, all these just because of the difference in structure position, boundar y fault strike, and dynamics charact eristics. According to the formation and the function in structur al activity, the brink sags can be divided into abandoned2type, adjust ed2type, tr ansitional2type, and r econstruct ed2type.
