Chen Jia geng and Ji mei schools and Xia men university Ji mei Primary School Chen jia geng took the trouble to investigate the state of education in Fujian , so Ji mei Primary School was founded in 1913 . It’s the first school which Chen established. From then on ,more and more schools were built in Ji mei and finally formed Ji mei schools village . Ji mei Secondary School  Started in 1918 ,the school enjoys the fame of “one of the most famous schools in China” with its brilliant history and glory its alumni both at home and broad have brought . In the past 90 years , the school has turned out about 50000 graduates ,among whom there is a galaxy of political figures , outstanding scientists ,artist and athletes. Ji mei University Ji mei University is the “century dream” of Chen Jia geng . As early as 1923 he wrote to Ye Yuan , then president of Ji mei schools , saying that the vocational schools in Ji mei were to be developed into Ji mei University provided his business remained promising . Now Jimei University has been one of the key universities to be preferentially developed in Fujian Province This is the new campus area which was awarded in 2009 as one of the 100 top architectural projects of China ! beautiful! With the efforts of Chen Jiageng and many people ,We can see how wonderful we live in . So we ought to work hard and make great progress!!! Xia men University Xia men University is the first University in Fu jian Sincerity and Perseverance Chen Jiageng is the pride of Jimei University and his spirit is the soul of it . The motto “sincerity and perseverance” he laid down for Jimei Schools decades ago remains its guiding principle in educating the students . In 1984 ,our government make the point to be in memory of Chen Jia geng’s birthday 110 anniversary!
