H ow ever, up to now, Ch inese translation of these term s are not yet w ell recogn ized and unan mi ously accepted. For the convenience in exchanging of academ ic idea and understanding of know ledge in nearfield seis mology, it is necessary to unify the Chinese translations of these three technical term s and a prelmi inary proposal is presented for these term s in Chinese.
