Abstract: The natural conditions in Daxing an Mountains area is harsh, because ofm in ing development for a long
tmi e, the ecological environment has degradated seriously in this region. It is mi portant to sustainable development
of the forestry in Heilongjiang to restore and rebuild the ecological environment in th is region. Th is paper has ana
lysed in an allroundw ay according to our investigation, and has disscussed ecologicaldestructions and environmen
tal mi pact by exp loitation of m ineral resources. According to the achievements of research at hom e and abroad, and
associating ecological conditions in Tahe, the recovery directions. w ere put forw ard
