T e mean fa- tigue life of t e joints, under various stress levels, was obtained. T e lower band life of lease beam welded joints, wit a survival proba- bility of 99% and a confidence level of 95% , was also obtained. T e effect of welding condition on t e fatigue life of t e jointswas ana- lyzed. It was found t at t e fatigue life of t e joints, eit er welded by conventional leaser beam or by active leaser beam, is lower t an t at of t e base metal.
