Abs tract: The long-span reticu lated shells are w idely used in roof structures. Due to the sensib ility to w ind load,
the w ind is alw ays the major or even the critical load app lied to such structures. So study on dynam ic response of
reticulated shell structures underw ind load is paid more and more attention to. In th is paper, the computational
method ofw ind-induced vibration response of reticu lated shell structures in tmi e domain is d iscussed, and thew ind-
induced vibration coefficient of nodal d isp lacem ent is used to evaluate the vibration characteristics of such struc-
tures. Parametric analysis of w ind-induced vibration coefficient of nodal d isplacement for a batch of quadrangu lar
pyram id type double- layer dome shellsunder d ifferent geometric parameters, including span, depth, and th ickness,
is carried out. Some w ind-induced vibration ru les are formu lated and a formula by linear regression is proposed,
w hich may be a reference of the w ind-resistance design of double-layer reticu lated domes.
