College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou 310027, China) Abstract: There may be negative effect on the secure operation of a distribution system due to its inappropriate placements of wind generators. In the framework of the chance constrained programming (CCP), a new model for planning wind generators in a distribution system is established, and a new method for evaluating steady security risks associated with the uncertainties of wind generators is presented in this paper. Minimizing the total cost, which is taken
