METHO S: N inety-six patientsw ith essential hypertension were divided into four groups according to the different parameters of echocardiography such as left ventricularmass index and relative wall thickness: normalgeometry group (N), concentric remodeling group (CR), concentric hypertrophy group ( CH) and eccentric hypertrophy group ( H). Cornell indexes in different groupswere analyzed. RESULTS: Cornellvoltage index and Cornell product index differentiated LVH from norm al geometry.
