W ith the net technology developed and increas ing enterprise know ledge, a proper m ethod for inform ation m anagem ent shou ld be proposed. Th is paper develops a set of office autom ation system softw are based on W eb technology. The goal of the softw are and its prmi ary modu les are introduced in th is paper. Th is paper present the characteristics of the softw are and discusses som e of the key mi plem en t technologies. The integration w ith the process relation database is also realized in the soft w are. The security of the softw are system is assuredw ith the help of the develop ing p latform Lotus Dom ino wh ich provides a controlled m eans for system visiting purview of seven layers and d igital signature technology. Because of the B/S structure adopted, itw ill be easy to extend add itionalm odules for the softwarew ith smi plem aintenance. The applied resu lts in som e com pan ies show that the office autom ation software mi proves official efficiency and much offi cial cost has been saved.
