Abs tract: The rainfall is one ofmost mi portant factors to induce landslide. The authors briefly introduced the spat-i
otemporal distribution regulation of rainfall and landslides. And on the basis of the study resu lts, the relationship be-
tw een landslide and rainfall, rainfall intensity and rainfall form is analysed, and the influence of the rainfall on the
soil strength parameter is exp lored. F inally the trends of research on th is relationsh ip is discussed.
