[Abstract]: the reader is a service of the work, but also an ideological and scientific nature of the work that is central to the work of the library, the library is the key to complete the task. This paper discusses the significance of reader service work, further illustrates how to do well the service for readers of University library.

Reader service work is the starting point and end result of all the work of the library, is the central link in the work of library work, each link or department is around transfer library literature and the literature information is to meet the growing demand of readers.
