She speaks English as well as an American. as…as前可加nearly, almost, exactly, just, twice, three years等: We produced twice as much cotton this year as we did last year. (2) 形容词和副词的比较级 + than Mary is taller than John but less active than John. Tom writes more carefully than Lucy. 比较级前可加 far, much, even, still, slightly, a lot, a little, a bit, twice等, by far 放在比较级后最高级前。 The story is more interesting than that one by far. (3) 最高级:the most +范围（至少三者） Of all the girls she is the least active. 4.其它句型： （1）more and more“越来越……” Our city is being more and more beautiful. (2) the more…the more …“越……越……” The farther away a thing is, the smaller it looks. （3）用形容词和副词的比较级的否定形式表示最高级： I couldn’t find a better place.
