Cochran SCR SCR Ceram SCR (CATLife®) SCR SCRCeram Influence of Wall Thickness on Catalyst and SCR System Management Abstract The cost effective, reliable, and efficient operation of selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems is of high importance to our power industry clients. This is especially true for applications burning coal, residual fuel oil, and petroleum coke. For these applications, the ash, sulfur, arsenic, vanadium, and numerous other constituents complicate catalyst and SCR system management. CERAM has devised a comprehensive program of catalyst and SCR system ® management services (CATLife ) that improve the performance and effectively manage the risks of ongoing SCR system operations. However, prior to discussing effective catalyst management it is advisable to focus on a significant catalyst design feature that maximizes future catalyst management opportunities. This paper focuses on the most important factor that effect catalyst management the wall thickness.
